Our private language lessons are for those looking for a highly effective, personalized learning experience. With your goals as our priority, we’ll match you with an expert instructor and customize a curriculum just for you.
We’ll do our best to accommodate your busy schedule and strive to make it as easy as possible on you by suggesting a mutually convenient location for you and your instructor. We offer these one-on-one private lessons (see below for options).

Our private packages
Through our intake questionnaire, we’ll get to know your personal goals, experience and preferences for learning style and speed. We use all of this to help find you a great teacher as well as craft a personalized experience that’ll drive results.
After you’ve chosen a package that suits your needs and made your first payment, we’ll match you with the perfect teacher to help you achieve your goals. This process timeline can vary depending on the language of choice, but we strive to match you in a week or less. We do require up-front payment so that we can lock in the best possible teacher for your lessons and reserve the time on his or her calendar.
As our private lessons are personalized to you and your goals, we do not have a set curriculum that we use. We’ll work with you to create a custom curriculum that best suits your needs. Your teacher will then refine the curriculum throughout the program based on your progress and feedback.
Based on your preferences, we’ll suggest times, locations, length of lessons that we think will optimize your experience. That said, we’re more than happy to work with you both on the initial set-up and if you’d like to make any changes throughout the program.

Terms & Conditions: Once you have booked a session, we require 24-hour cancellation notice or the session will be deducted from your packaged sessions. All private lessons must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase. Lessons last a minimum of 60 minutes, giving the teacher time to write feedback, homework, and next steps. Discounts or promotions not expressly listed for use in private lesson packages cannot be used when purchasing online lessons. Discounts and promotions cannot be combined. Only one person may attend a private lesson and this must be the same person throughout the program. While we strive to be flexible in scheduling, please note that the more regular your schedule is, the faster it will match you and your teacher.

Once you’ve had your first lesson with your Private Teacher, they will recommend materials that will help you hit your language learning goals.
Length of lessons is totally dependent on you! We recommend all students start with 1.5 hours with their Private Lessons Teacher. If this feels like too long or short of a session, we can always revisit your schedule.
We totally understand that life happens and you may need to cancel a private lesson. We ask you to give your teacher and your Private Lessons Advisor 24 hours notice.
Your Private Lessons Language Advisor will match you with the teacher we feel is best for you. We’ll share their background and strengths with you before we book your first lesson!
Yes, it is! Purchased lesson packages expire 12 months after purchase. You have a full calendar year to use your purchased packages before they expire.
We are a language school focusing on education for adults. As such, all Private Lesson students must be 18 years of age or older.
